If you have followed my game development articles throughout the years, you know I am all for using middleware and any tool that lets you work faster, and thus lets you finish your games easier. Humble Bundle is offering a bundle that includes a lot of tools that will help you do a lot of tasks faster: the Unity Tools Bundle.
In regular Humble Bundle fashion, you can either pay a certain amount to get different packs. And also, in regular Humble Fashion, the average price is almost the same as the full price meaning you should just ignore the middle tier.
If you pay at least $1, you get 4 items: RPG Cameras & Controllers (a set of various configurable RPG-style cameras that should fit almost any game), Modular Motion (a component that lets you easily create your animation for your objects), Bones Stimulator (a system that lets you add secondary motion, as well as effects like squash and stretch, to your bones) and an Asset Store 10% coupon.
If you pay more than the average ($29.19 at the time I am writing this), you get 10 items, including a train controller, a tree creator, a shadow generator for UI components, various performance tools and the sets included in the previous tier.
But if you pay for the entire bundle, $30, you get 26 tools, including all of the above plus TopDown Engine, which I hear is pretty good, UniStorm, a volumetric cloud generator and modular weather generator, Smart Lighting 2D, and other tools, like fluid simulation, dialogue tools, UI tools and more.
And that’s it. The bundle still has a few days left, so if it sounds interesting to you, then you should get it now.
