In the past I have brought Humble Bundles that draw my attention for different reasons. Well, I found another one that might be useful to those who are just starting into game development. The “Learn Game Development for Beginners” bundle. In usual Humble Bundle fashion, you can choose to pay an amount, and get a certain number of packs, or pay full price to get the entire selection.
If you decide to pay $1, you get two items: Finish It! Motivation & Processes For Game Developers Course, and Math For Video Game Course. The first course is mostly aimed at help you find out why you are getting stuck in game development, and also find strategies to finish your game, while the second one is going to teach you some math fundamentals that you will need to program.
The next tier is $18.68 for 4 items. You get the first two items from the previous tier plus two more items, Desert Village Asset Pack, a low-poly modular assets set, and Pixel Art Fundamentals Course.
However, you can also decide to get all 11 items in the bundle for $25. This includes more learning resources, a Unity course, a drawing courses, a Blender course, a Construct course, an Unreal Engine course, and a couple more programming courses.
This bundle may or may not be useful to you depending on how far you are into your game development career. If you are an absolute newbie, or a beginner, this may be very helpful. If you have been making games for a few years now, maybe not so much.
