It's all motion, it's all inspiring. So, take the time to kick back and have a look at some fantastic work being produced out there. And, if you like what you see in this segment, please share it.
Some pieces featured have been created by professional studios, while others may be personal works. May this segment serve to inspire you.
As it is October, it's time to break out the scares...
Temptations - "Scaredy Cat"
The first short this week comes from Zombie Studio, created for Temptations cat treats. It's a brilliant film, but even more so when you see the making of video here. The stop motion set is absolutely incredible!
Not Alone in Here
This second piece from David F Sandberg plays to a fear most of us have had at one time or another. I love how the story is told through voiceover of the thoughts of the main character...and fits great for the end shot (you'll see). I'm reaching out to David for interview, so stay tuned.
A woman suspects she's not alone in her house.
Making of: vimeo.com/420553284
This next piece I love for it's immense creepiness. Aside from that, the cinematography is incredible.
A young pianist confronts her fear of motherhood when she marries into a remote island community with bizarre fertility rituals.
Writer/Director: Natalie Erika James - natalieerikajames.com
Producer: Emma Haarburger
Jenny Wu - jennywu.info
This last piece I love for it's style...and creep factor.
A man destroys the nest of an unknown creepy creature.
But it's not the most horrible creature he will meet tonight.
Directed and animated by Stas Santimov
