The Motion Weekly is a showcase of awe-inspiring short films, animation, incredible live-action, motion design, outstanding cinematography, and wicked cool experimental works. It's all motion, it's all inspiring. So, take the time to kick back and have a look at some fantastic work being produced out there. And, if you like what you see in this segment, please share it.

Some pieces featured have been created by professional studios, while others may be personal works. May this segment serve to inspire you.

As it is October, it's time to break out the scares...

Temptations - "Scaredy Cat"

The first short this week comes from Zombie Studio, created for Temptations cat treats. It's a brilliant film, but even more so when you see the making of video here. The stop motion set is absolutely incredible!

TEMPTATIONS - " SCAREDY CAT " from Zombie Studio on Vimeo.

Cats are known as intuitive, intelligent and brave little creatures. But this Halloween, some fears will emerge from unexpected places, defying rational explanation.
We’re thrilled to announce that “Scaredy Cat”, the world’s first horror movie for cats, is finally out!
Working together with adam&eveDDB and in partnership with BlinkInk, we have directed and produced a frightening 4-minute short movie for Temptations Cat Treats that will definitely send shivers down the spine of even the most relentless cats(and owners!).
Get your popcorn and your cat’s treat and enter into the gloomy atmosphere of Scaredy Cat.

Not Alone in Here

This second piece from David F Sandberg plays to a fear most of us have had at one time or another. I love how the story is told through voiceover of the thoughts of the main character...and fits great for the end shot (you'll see). I'm reaching out to David for interview, so stay tuned.

Drum Wave

This next piece I love for it's immense creepiness. Aside from that, the cinematography is incredible.

A young pianist confronts her fear of motherhood when she marries into a remote island community with bizarre fertility rituals.

The Surrogate

This last piece I love for it's style...and creep factor.

The Surrogate from Stas Santimov on Vimeo.

A man destroys the nest of an unknown creepy creature.
But it's not the most horrible creature he will meet tonight.
