Escape Motions recently launched their 2021 Artwork Contest, and Renderosity has partnered with them, offering up some amazing prizes. If you are unaware of Escape Motions, they are unique in the software they offer, which have come about from the incredible experiments of founder, Peter Blaskovic. First, there's Rebelle, which is a hyper-realistic painting software, featuring incredible oils, watercolors, and other wet and dry media. Then, there is Flame Painter, which is a painting software utilizing unique particle brushes, and Amberlight, which is more in the fractal genre, where you can produce some wicked backgrounds and animations.

The Escape Motions' Artwork Contest 2021 is currently open for entries, so the time is now to head on over to the contest page. The deadline for receiving Entries is expected on April 15, 2021 23:59 GMT. Judging will be done on composition, technical excellence, strength of emotive elements, and overall appearance. Three winners in each category will be selected internally by the Escape Motions team.

There are a few important things to note about the contest. First, work submitted to the 2021 Artwork Contest must have been created using Escape Motions' software, whether fully, or in part. Also, you must create an account on the Escape Motions website, as that is how you will submit your entries. There are 4 categories in this contest: Portrait, Figurative Composition, Landscape, and Abstract Composition. The rules state that you can submit to all 4, but only one artwork in each.

The prizes available are really fantastic, and a little different in each category. But, they are all fairly sizeable 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place packages for each category. Escape Motions not only partnered with Renderosity, but also Wacom, LostMarble (Moho software), Mediachance, 3dTotal, and more! As for Renderosity, such prizes offered include Poser 12, Blacksmith 3D, Prime memberships, and Marketplace gift cards.

Now, if you don't end up selected for a prize, the good news is you still come away with something pretty sweet. Every entrant gets an exclusive 20% discount on all International Artist subscriptions and a 20% discount on Escape Motions products.

Check out the contest page here for many more details, including how to submit, and also to see the current entries thus far.

There's no better time than the present for an exciting creative contest such as this, and prizes are really only secondary to what you get out of it. Best of all, entering contests is a great way to get motivated, work to a theme on a deadline, and ultimately, have your work noticed. So, take this opportunity if you can and have fun creating!
