It's all motion, it's all inspiring. So, take the time to kick back and have a look at some fantastic work being produced out there. And, if you like what you see in this segment, please share it.
Some pieces featured have been created by professional studios, while others may be personal works. May this weekly segment serve to inspire you.
Freeze Frame
The first piece this week is a brilliant experiment in stop motion...with ice. The film explores preservation and decay through a vintage cinema style.

Danny And The Wild Bunch
This next piece is from 6 years ago, and I had to check back to see if I featured it before. Glad it popped into my feed recently, as I loved this one for it's incredible mix of great animation and live-action camera work.

A children’s book author is told that her new manuscript needs to be “darker”, but when her revisions piss off the characters in the book, they come back to make some changes of their own.
Manifesto
Brilliant Motion Design in many forms and styles in this awesome approach Studio River took to "not deliver another showreel".

River is an audiovisual crafting brand.
This Year we sponsored the Motion Plus Design for their sixth event in Paris. On this occasion we were asked to introduce our studio. But rather than deliver another showreel we decided to create a manifesto video where we could play with some funny storytelling through our different baselines. We used the showreel codes to create the same type of dynamic except that each shot was created for the film with various artistic directions.
Anyway the intention was to create a demo tape with a somewhat atypical shape.
Thank you for watching !
Wire Cutters
This award-winning short film is another that's been around some years, but it's one of my favorites. Made mostly with Maya, this film is incredible in story, mood, and the wonderful robotic characters.
