Affinity Launches Creative Sessions and Incredible Discounts on the Affinity Suite

During this time of social distancing and staying in due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been an incredible outpouring of help and support from creatives of every type. From music artists performing from their homes, to other creatives sharing tutorials and inspirational tips and ideas for creative things to do at home. Many creative software companies have even provided extended trials and discount pricing during this time as well.

Serif, the makers of the Affinity line of products has also joined in with incredible discounts on their software, as well as extended 90 day free trials. On top of that, they recently launched Lockdown 2020: Affinity Creative Sessions through their YouTube channel.

Throughout the month of May, you can head over to the Affinity YouTube channel, where they are producing free, daily inspirational video sessions from top creative talent. A new video will premiere every day throughout May at 4PM BST. And while these video sessions are pre-recorded, the respective artist will be available on live chat during the premiere to answer questions. And free content will even be provided in some instances.

It really is wonderful to see so many people out there willing to help in the best way they can. And Serif's lineup of creatives so far has been a real treat. If you've missed any, they are still available to view. I've watched a couple of the sessions so far, and they have been incredible.

Now, though these sessions are based around Affinity software, there really is something solid for everyone to enjoy and get inspired by. And, if you are wanting to learn more about the Affinity line of products, Ash Hewson, the Managing Director of Serif, kicked off the Affinity Creative Sessions with an overview of the Affinity Suite: Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, and Affinity Publisher.

And, as I mentioned previously, Serif has offered support to the creative community by offering a 90 day free trial of all the Mac and Windows versions of the whole Affinity suite, plus a 50% discount for users who would prefer to buy and keep the apps, including iPad versions.

I, myself, have been a fan of the whole Affinity suite for a couple years now. There is an intuitiveness about the apps, and a huge bonus is the ability to work seamlessly between them. Whether or not you use Affinity products, you're sure to come away with something from the creative sessions, and perhaps this is the time to give the products a try.
