Interview with Jules53737
Renderosity: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your creative background?
Jules53737: I'm now 66 years old and I'm retired. I started with drawings and paintings when I was about 10 years old, started with pencils and charcoal and changed later to oil paintings. When I was about 25 I stopped it due to business challenges and started agin in the mid 90th with Poser but the early versions didn't fullfil my needs so I stopped it again and changed to 2D with Photoshop and Co.
How would you describe your style?
Jules53737: I don't have a special style or genre, most of my renders are more or less realistic.
Where do you find your inspiration?
Jules53737: To be honest, sometimes I have an idea, sometimes I'm looking at a scene and I have an idea that is so different.
What’s the most important tool you use for your work? Why?
Jules53737: I'm using mostly Poser, thats my main tool as I don't really like the workflow of studio but, sometimes I'm using it to test products.
How has your own work changed over the years? Where do you think it’s headed?
Jules53737: IMO my work didn't change that much, OK. Poser 11 allows to be more free than in the versions before so I use that.
If you could have dinner with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
Jules53737: Thats not easy but I would like to have a dinner with DaVinci, a great technician and a great artist
