When talking to Renderosity vendor Eva (nirvy), I can tell when it comes to art, she is VERY passionate and I love it! I love listening and reading other member's stories about how they feel about art. And, you may know vendor nirvy, but can you say you know the REAL nirvy?
What brought you to Renderosity?
An amazing artist named BluGnome (bggraphics) taught me the basics of Poser way back at Poser 4 in 2003 and he introduced me to Renderosity. Everything that followed I owe to him.
How has art changed your life?
Where to begin and where to end? Gosh, that's a hard one!
It's Digital art that changed my life.
In 2003, I was in a very dark place and I could say that art was a major factor in getting back to being myself again. Everything I felt came out in my images. I entered a world I had never known before: somewhere between fantasy and reality. It brought me to meet such wonderful artists that I am still proud to call my friends. Some are gone and some are still around but they too were art to me.
Artists such as BluGnome, Shadowblade, Calum5, Prog, Luciferino, SophiaDeer, Anje, Pjaj, Elfenone, Zoku01, Cloughie, Ilona and so many others were an inspiration to me and still are. They were there from my first steps and if you haven't seen their Art, you should!
The days of creating an image a day and posting them in the Gallery are long gone and I miss them so badly but through my products I continue to express my deepest feelings and my love for art still today.
What is it about art that you love?
The colors, seeing your imagination come to life, expressing your feelings, reaching the darkest parts of oneself and the brightest too, the strive to do more, creating, its vastness, its infinity, its eternity, beauty, the list could go on forever.
What does art mean to you?
It's who I am, it's what I am. Every image, each product I make is a part of me. It's what gets me out of bed every morning and keeps me going every day.
How did you become so passionate about art and why?
I always thought I was born with it already in me. Unfortunately, I couldn't actually paint or draw but the colors...those have always been so important in everything. Digital art allowed me finally to do what I had wanted to do since I was a child.
I don't think one "becomes" passionate about art; or it's in you or it isn't therefore the second part of your question has no answer that I can give.
There is no reason, it just is!
